The Trumansburg Winter Market was started in 2023 and was held at the Trumansburg Fire Hall for it’s inaugural season. We quickly realized due to the Firehouse's busy training schedule and service to the community that a bigger space with less market interruptions was needed. The Trumansburg American Legion opened their doors for us for the 2024 season and we have hopefully found a permanent home with them. This change also allowed the Winter Market to keep the same hours as our Summer Market on Wednesdays from 4pm-7pm.

Although the Winter Market is slightly smaller than our Summer Market, there is still an array of vendor products to choose from. From root vegetables to greens, micro greens to mushrooms, fresh baked breads and sweet treats to beef, pork, and chicken (all ethically raised), local honey and locally sourced tinctures & healing salves to wine and kombucha products, yarn and hand knitted products to locally produced ice cream. There’s something for everyone, and all of it raised, grown, and made within 30 miles of the Market!

By having the Winter Market at The American Legion, we are able to provide a warm space allowing you to engage with your local farmers and vendors in comfort. We are also able to take advantage of the added convenience of being able to imbibe in a adult beverage from the bar (for our 21 and over crowd, our younger community members will have plenty of appropriate choices to choose from!) and order a snack or even a whole dinner from the Legion’s kitchen. Some of the available snack and dinner options include mozzerella sticks, tater tots, burgers, wings, and quesadillas. There’s options for everyone! We are hoping to bring in local music done acoustically for your listening pleasure to future Winter Markets. Please come out and support our Winter Market so we can continue to bring you our local products. You’ll be surprised at all that’s available in the off season!

Hope to see you there!
